卡尔加里大学重新进入教育部认可大学名单
日前，教育部重新将卡尔加里大学列入到33个出国留学国家学校名单，为帮助自费出国留学人员正确选择国外学习学校，加强对自费留学中介活动的监管，引导自费留学中介机构与国外正规学校开展合作，教育部公布了33个我国公民主要留学国家1万多所学校名单，基本涵盖了我国公民主要留学目的地国的正规高等学校。多数学生都会通过此名单评价申请大学是否受认可。此次重新调整，卡尔加里大学专门在大学网站公布了此消息，具体如下：
This week, the University of Calgary was listed as an accredited university by The People’s Republic of China. “The University of Calgary has a longstanding and mutually beneficial relationship with the Chinese community, both at home and abroad,” says Dr. Elizabeth Cannon, president. “We value the relationship, and look forward to developing even stronger connections and partnerships in the future.” The listing is an important factor in the university’s ability to build research collaborations and offer scholarly opportunities to both students and faculty. It supports the university’s academic principle of excellence in research, scholarship and creative activity. The university has 28 active agreements with 24 institutions and companies across China and more than 1,000 alumni living there. The more than 550 Chinese students on campus make up nearly one-quarter of the University of Calgary’s total international student population. China places U of C on list of accredited universities
