不管是什么考试的写作，同学们总会要在因果推理中表达“因为”、”所以“。大多数同学首先想到的就应该是连词 because，so 。今天我们给大家再介绍几个关于因果关系连接词的正确使用方法。雅思写作

一、“因为”的选择：

①单个单词表达“因为”，

because，as 和 for 这几个词，就是表示“因为”最常见的第一梯队了。

I believed her,for/as she would never lie to me.

②短语表达“因为”：in that ，now that ，given that ，on the ground that

I am sensible with money,in that/given that I don't earn that much.

我用钱通常比较精打细算，因为自己挣得不多。

Now that you've made a decision, there is no turning back.

既然已经决定，那便不能回头。

③连接名词的“因为”

如果只需要连接一个小的名词成分，可以用because of 、due to

比如Kelly Clarkson有一首好听的歌叫Because Of You。

Because of you, I never strayed too far from the sidewalk.

因为你，我从不会偏离人行道太远(不让自己受伤)。

④进阶的表“因为”的短语:

by virtue of .因为virtue原意就是美德、优点，就有褒义的意思。
in view of ，in light of 这两个其实底层都跟“光”有关系。light本意就是光，view本身就表示视野、查看，有光就能看见。所以除了“因为”，也可以理解成“鉴于”。

In view/light ofthe weather, the sports meeting will be held indoors.

由于天气原因，运动会将在室内举行。

二、“所以”的替换方式：

如果大家要用thus，therefore，hence来替换so，可以用下面两种方法：

①SVO. Thus, SVO.雅思备考

用句号分成两句话。thus作为副词可以放在第二句的开头。

Danny is a big fan of Curry. Thus, he is is a collector of all suits related to this fantastic sport.

②SVO; thus, SVO.或者 SVO, and thus, SVO.

分号和连词 and 都可以连接两套主谓宾。

「分号」Danny is really into Curry;thus, he is a collector of all suits related to this fantastic sport.

「and」Danny is really into Curry,and thus, he is a collector of all suits related to this fantastic sport.
